ASSOCOMAPLAST at K 2010

New ASSOCOMAPLAST's President appointed
On Wednesday April 28, 2010, the Committee of the Italian plastics and rubber processing machinery and moulds manufacturers' Association unanimously deliberated to appoint Mr Giorgio Colombo, managing director of ICMA SAN GIORGIO, as President for the two-year period 2010-2012.
The designation will be submitted to ASSOCOMAPLAST General Assembly's voting, already scheduled on Wednesday June 9, 2010, in CESAP's conference room, in Verdellino-Zingonia.

Further recovery
Also in February, the majority of Italian plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers, member of ASSOCOMAPLAST, improved its orders portfolio. This further sign of recovery emerged from the latest monthly survey with a hundred respondents.

Restart out of breath for the Italian industry of plastics and rubber machinery
On the basis of preliminary ISTAT data related to the sector’s foreign trade in 2009 and the survey on turnover and export for ASSOCOMAPLAST Member companies all along 2009, the comparison with the previous year shows a remarkable slackening for the industry.

The 24th edition of CHINAPLAS takes place in Shanghai, from April 19 to 22.

PLAST2012 - the triennial trade show has been shifted
International triennial exhibition for plastics and rubber industries PLAST2012 comes back to the first half of May in the International trade fairs’ calendar, as from mid-eighties to 2006; therefore it will be held from Tuesday, May 8 to Saturday, May 12, 2012 in FIERA MILANO in Rho (Milan).
